Hello,

I made for a client a all website with different K2 categories, using each, different extra fields.

I need now to put search module in different parts of the website, that with search on specific extra field, depending on the place they are.

For exemple, in directory part I need to search on city and other, on catalog part, I need to search on type of support, and so on.

K2 was meant to make article that can have different type of extra field.

Do you confirm, search are defined on a set of field, but once for the whole website ?

Is there no other possibility.

K2 Search does not allow for this in its native form.
However there are Joomla! Extensions available that will do this.
