Yes i did, and thanks, a lot of your posts have been really helpful whilst travelling this Teline iii maze.
Not quite as bad as i thought at first but there are a few problems here and there.
We need a Teline iii Wiki i think.micrantha Friendmicrantha

June 25, 2010 at 1:14 pm #348119Yes, and this new issue is due to update of template. Joomlart is not reacting to different posts about this problem.
I don’t know why the fix I found is not working for you.Good luck,

June 28, 2010 at 2:11 am #348244Dear wombat1!
The best way, you get the lasteset download and then you should update the libs folder and get two following files: ja_teline_iii/layouts/blocks/header.php and ja_teline_iii/layouts/blocks/topmenga.php,put them into your project.
You try-to unstall and install the ja me again the jamenuparams plugin again. if you still have the problem, pls let me know the detail account information via your ticket ,
Good luck

June 28, 2010 at 2:19 am #348246Hi Tienhc
Thanks for the response but its a little confusing.
I have installed the latest version of Teline iii already of course, since it was the only one available when i signed up for it a week ago.
Sepecificaly i installed quickstart for 1.4.1 a few days ago to begin the project, so therefore its already the latest download right?
therefore if i update libs folder, add header.php and topmeg.php they will be the same files?I already uninstalled the original jamenuparams plugin, deleting from database as specified here, and installing the jamenuparams from other template as recommended.
How do i open a ticket here.
Thanks in advance.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

June 30, 2010 at 6:31 pm #348546any resolution for those of us using 1.4.1???
On our own we have exhausted many hours of resources to resolve on our own, only to find out from this post, it does not work…
Is the joomlart recommendation for 1.4.1 users to open a ticket?

June 30, 2010 at 6:43 pm #348547El Patron hi
I assume that sometimes it is not easy to know what the problem is with new versions of templates and modules and components.
I would say open the ticket, the issue appears resolved in my case.
I saw that several people were accesing my site over the last few days and the problem was fixed although im not sure how since they have not posted me a message explaining what they have done yet but i am very happy that its working, i realised that the options that were not appearing before, now are and was able to implement the mega menu correctly.I am also assuming this is a bug that will be fixed in the next update. In the past with this type of problem Joomlart have solved the probelm first then implemented the change in the next update of the template. So if they have fixed this in my site i assume it will be included in the next version.
So for now just go the support ticket way, the issue will be solved and whenever the next version comes in the issue will be gone.
Hope that helps, cheers

Hi, test system running 1.4.1 with mega-item sanfu.
I replaced the 1.4.1 html folder for mod_jamegamenu with the 1.4 stable version.
I can get a new mega-item to display easily enough 1) created a mod_custom named ‘test’ and 2) updating the topmega menu with ‘test’ as a separator. (I created the test module from the quick start Features). When I hover overt ‘test’ I don’t get the 10 things you must know display like on QS Feature. And the ‘test’ meunu link just resolves to #.
Is there something else I need to do (i.e. delete something in the db) to make this work?
Help!…jajajajaja

Fred

July 7, 2010 at 9:04 pm #349268Hello Fred,
Did you try the fix I described above?
In my test installation of Quickstart I only deleted plg_jamenuparams in database (normal uninstall did not work), reinstalled and published it, and than I could use the extra arameters group Parameters (JA Extended), for which a manual is given in Ja Purity II forum.Starting anew from just the installation of template v1.4.1 in an existing (v.1.3), it was enough to install plugin plg_jamenuparams and setting up extra menu topmega and configuring it to get the former mega-men in top right corner of page working.
In version 1.4.1 now even the main menu (jazin) can be set up as a MegaMenu.
Hope you get it to work in this way.
good luck,

July 14, 2010 at 3:55 pm #349925Hello,
I just solve the problem for me and i hope this works for you also.I deleted from phpmyadmin the Ja megamenu plugin since it can’t be uninstalled if you have used the quickstart.
After that i installed the ja megamenu plugin from JA Purity T3 and everything works fine now! -
