I am using JomSocial’s login rather than the job board login. But the job board menu module redirects are still working, which causes problems. For example, if a user logs in elsewhere on the site, and then goes to the job board link, then it suddenly redirects them based upon the redirection settings in the module. That means they click on a link on the site, but don’t get to that link because it sends them somewhere else. But I can’t figure out how to simply not use the redirects. Advice?

    Hi Brentwilliams2,

    The redirection link in the JA Jobboard Menu module setting only effect when a user login via this module. So, please check your site setting again.

    Hi Hero,
    I’ve attached my current settings. I have the login form turned off, but I do have the “Register as…” links turned on. If I log in on my site’s home page (which is not a ja jojbboard menu item), and then surf to my jobs area, it will redirect me based upon the module settings.

    Hi,

    When i went to your site, i could see you don’t use JA Jobboard menu module for login and using other login module. So I’m sure that all settings of JA Job Board menu module does not affect to redirection page .

    Hi Hero,
    I’m sorry, but the redirects are definitely working, even though the login form is turned off. I tested this several times: (I uploaded the screenshot above in this thread)

    In the employer settings, as you can see I had the login redirect set to “My Posted Jobs”. When a logged in employer went to the jobs section, it redirected me to “My Posted Jobs”.

    I then changed the module redirect setting to “Buy Packages”. Again, when a logged in employer went to the jobs section, it redirected me to the “Buy Packages” page.

    The job seeker settings resulted in the same exact experience. As you can see I had the login redirect set to “Favorite Jobs”. When a logged in job seeker went to the jobs section, it redirected me to “Favorite Jobs”.

    I then changed the module redirect setting for the job seeker to “My Resume”. Again, when a logged in job seeker went to the jobs section, it redirected me to the “My Resume” page.

    It is clear that the redirects are functioning, even though the login form is turned off.

    Hi There,

    Please try to find code line as below
modJaJobboard_Menu::redirectToPage($params);
then comment it
//modJaJobboard_Menu::redirectToPage($params);
in file modulesmod_jajobboard_menumod_jajobboard_menu.php

    Hope this helps.
