December 21, 2012 at 5:37 pm #183325Hello,
I am using the left-right-main layout of JA_Ores. I have changed its code to
——<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>
<layout name=”desktop”>
<!–Extra css load for this layout–>
<stylesheets>
</stylesheets>
<blocks name=”top” style=”xhtml”>
<block name=”cpanel” type=”usertools/cpanel”></block>
<!– COMMENTAIRE POUR MASQUER BANDE HOT NEWS HAUT DE PAGE <block name=”hot-news”>hotnews</block>–>
<block name=”header” type=”header” main-inner=”1″></block>
<!– COMMENTAIRE POUR MASQUER MAIN MENU<block name=”mainnav” type=”mainnav” main-inner=”1″></block>–>
<block name=”slideshow” type=”modules” wrap-inner=”2″>slideshow</block>
<block name=”topsl” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″>user1,user2,user3,user4</block>
</blocks>
<blocks name=”middle” colwidth=”25″>
<block name=”left-mass-top” >right-mass-top</block>
<block name=”content-mass-bottom” >content-mass-bottom</block>
<block name=”left1″>left</block>
<block name=”left2″ width=”18″>right</block>
</blocks>
<blocks name=”bottom” style=”xhtml”>
<block name=”botsl” type=”spotlight” style=”JArounded” wrap-inner=”2″>user6,user7,user8,user9</block>
<block name=”module” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”2″>user10,user11,user12,user13</block>
<block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper” main-inner=”1″></block>
<block name=”footer” type=”footer”></block>
</blocks>
</layout>—
How can I do to change “ONLY” the background color of my “right” colum.
I have tried several things but didn’t succeed.
Hope you could find a solution to do that.
Thanks for your precious help.Emmanuel CONSTANT

December 22, 2012 at 7:43 am #477172Hi Emmanuel CONSTANT,
As I can see from your site, you’re using left and main block only, I don’t see right block in your site. Pls add content to this right block and send me screenshot of how you want to achieve, set Compress CSS in Template manager to No, I shall help you out

December 24, 2012 at 2:33 pm #477412Hello and thanks a lot for your answer and precious help.
And don’t really understand when you say that I don’t have any right block.
It is true that in the layout code, it is written “left1” for LEFT and “left2” for RIGHT. Is that the shade of meaning ?
I send you an image of m website and what I understand to be the left and right column.What shall I do if what I have done is not OK ??
If neccessary I can give you an FTP access to the Website and create an super user accound if this could help you.
In that case, please ask me to do soFor information, I have set Compress CSS in template manager to NO.
Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad English.
Emmanuel

December 25, 2012 at 9:58 am #477495Hi Emmanuel,
You could try this way:
– Open file: /templates/ja_your_default_template/css/template.css
– Add this CSS rule:
.ja-col.ja-left2.column {
background: //your_color_here;
}Then clean JAT3 cache.
