    saw another post in the sanidine forum… i just want to place the background graphic and have it scroll with the page… please tell me exactly what i need to edit in the index.php file and the template.css file…

    Too add an image that you want to scroll with the content add the attribute background-attachment: scroll to the image call.

    See the below example from the Sanidine template:


    background-image: url(http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_sanidine/templates/ja_sanidine/images/background/gaming.jpg); background-attachment: scroll;

    You’ll find this line generally in your template.css file.

    still a little confused… i am trying to add to the pyrite template.. again i just want the background to scroll with the page…. do i need to edit the template.css and index.php ? both or just the index.php

    i just dont know where to add the script in the file

    Remember the support team are off in the weelends, and that this is a customization of the template. Thats why you need to wait for a solution i guess.

    Trey..

    Let me better explain what I noted above earlier: in template.css (line 25)
    change it to read:


    body#bd {
    background:#FFFFFF url(http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_pyrite/images/stories/slideshow/sl-05.jpg) repeat scroll 0 0;
    color:#333333;
    }

    make sure you change the above URL to whatever image you want to use.
