I have tried many hours in finding a way to change the dark background colour in this template.
I only succeed in being able to change the background colour at the area in the bottom of the page area.
The colour at the top is (as far as I have understood) #262626 and I try to search for this colour nr in all the CSS files and change it, but no colour change happens.
I would also like to be able to change the text colour in the menu, but again, I can’t find which data in the CSS file to change.
Can someone please help me out here :-[
Have a look at the JPG file attached.

Ok the first the black background in the menu
Open ja.splitmenu.css and go to line 47
#ja-splitmenu li.active a, #ja-splitmenu li.active a:hover, #ja-splitmenu li.active a:active, #ja-splitmenu li.active a:focus {
-moz-background-clip:border;
-moz-background-inline-policy:continuous;
