Hello,

I have a category blog page on my site. How do I enable the “Read More” button so each post on the category blog is limited to a certain preview length.

The category blog page needs to look uniform so the visitor can click on the article title or “Read More” button to read the entire article— as opposed to the entire article being visible on the category blog page.

Is there a way to set the preview length so the “Read More” button always appears automatically if the length of the article requires it?

I have Read More enabled to show up automatically for 100 words in Article Manager Options, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

I am afraid that default Readmore feature of Joomla does not support the automatic setting you mentioned. You need to add Readmore manually for each single article.
