I can’t find any documentation on how to install the K2 css files for the 1.7 version. I uploaded the CSS files from 1.5 to the template folder and turned off the default css in K2, but it dod not work. Please advise.

If the 1.5 CSS files for K2 will not work with the 1.7 version of K2, please advise as to when this will be updated for the JA Social template.

Bear in mind, CSS not only involves pure CSS styling, but sometimes calls for certain images as well. It may be that there are images that you need to bring over as well – which you can determine via very careful inspection of each css line (to assure you have all of the elements needed to effectuate the elements).

Did you also do an item/category/section by item/category/section of the K2 configurations in the JA Social J1.5 version with your configurations of your J1.7 K2 install – to make sure they are as identical as possible?

At this time, there is no set time-frame schedule I can provide for if/when the K2 elements integrated within our J1.5 templates will be integrated into our J1.7 templates . . . . but if/when there are updates, they will be posted within our UPDATES[/url] section.

This is a fresh site build in 1.7, so there is no previous K2 configuration to go on. It’s not images or configuration, the CSS isn’t being picked up at all.

I haven’t been able to find any documentation on the K2 configuration settings to get it to look like the 1.5 demo. I suppose I can do a 1.5 quickstart install and see if that configures it for me? Anoter template I purchased with K2 styling came with an excellent guide on how to configure K2, I guess I was expecting the same.

I purchased this template for the sole reason that it included styling for K2 and JomSocial and was ready for 1.7. I feel it’s very misleading to market this as such when all of the same templates are not included with the 1.7 version. Now that K2 is officially out for 1.7, this should be updates in JA Social

And it will be updated – though there is no definitive time frame to provide at this time.

We can say that the coming month’s JATC J1.7 Template will feature integration of the new J1.7 compatible K2.
