    Hello,

I often try to upload images for articles that are over 2mb and I get a response that it has failed b’cos over the size limit.

How do I overcome this, please?

Please check your PHP upload parameter on your server

    Refer to http://www.captain.at/howto-php-upload-max-size.php

You have to update your php.ini file. You’d have to contact your host for that. If you’re on a shared environment, you may not be able to.

but you should be able to upload via FTP (filezilla) directly the to image folder that you want the images to reside in. The use your joomla editor of choice to insert the image. But, bear in mind, your site visitors will have issues loading such large size graphics, so you should ues photoshop or something to reduce theire file size so that they will load on your visitors browser.
