Have you obtained the newsletter extension you wish to use? If so, the developer should provide instructions as to how to integrate/connect the respective component with your site.

The “newsletter module” to which you are referring is not actually a specialized “newsletter module,” but rather a custom_html module that was designed for possible use with whichever newsletter application an individual use should choose. As such, JA does not provide newsletter-component-specific support for any given newsletter component. This is why I am endeavoring to assist you with resources you can refer to with regard to the particular newsletter component you’ve chosen. To this effect, here is another video about newsletter creation with acymailing –>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UzPQcT1veII’m not certain if this cut-and-paste link will work, but here is a listing of additional acymailing related tutorials you can check out –> https://www.google.com/#q=acymailing&hl=en&prmd=imvns&source=univ&tbm=vid&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=pvxoT_KVFsaBsgKo0IGqCQ&sqi=2&ved=0CHQQqwQ&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=6f9a12109a728444&biw=1920&bih=965

March 20, 2012 at 10:44 pm #444802thanks for your reply.
I am aware that this is a custom html module.
Thats precisely my question. I like this html module, and want to use that layout.
what do I need to fill in in the proper html tags so this module links to the the acymail login, OR the standard joomla mass mailing function.thanks!

March 23, 2012 at 3:59 am #445270I believe you should be able to link up your acymailing component to the newsletter custom_mod via an “a” tag
<a href=”..”> </a>
Were there no instructions provided with the acymailing component and/or via the acymailing website?
