Hi,

I want to open a .pdf file from a menu item

e.g: when a client clicks on the ‘Products’ menu item it directly opens a .pdf file as it would any normal page.

Can anyone help or make suggestions please.

Hi.
You can upload your file to media folder, then create a menu have type is Extenal Link with link is”media/yourfile.pdf”

Thanks to ‘nguoiabcd’ for helping me with this request.

For others wishing to do the same, the following works:

From ‘Menu Manager’

Select ‘New’ menu item

In the ‘LInks’ section (bottom right hand corner) Select ‘Link – Url

In the url box put the link to your .pdf file.

I trust this helps others as ‘nguoiabcd’ has helped me.
