Hello,

I would like to completely remove the html declaration for the favicon.ico from my website. I have a different favicon solution, and I would like to do away with the native joomla/template solution which is conflicting with mine (not allowing 32×32 and 48×48 .ico to display correctly).

As you can see in source code mode, the line I’m speaking of is:
<link href=”/favicon.ico” rel=”shortcut icon” type=”image/vnd.microsoft.icon” />

I’ve looked in the code and I cannot find the snippet above. Please help me locate this HTML or PHP declaration so it can be removed 🙂

Favicon is call from the the Joomla . Follow this documentation guide , here you can see how you can change it .
