December 31, 2013 at 1:54 am #193367Hello,
For some reason, when I set up the contact form to duplicate the settings found in the demo, it looks nothing like the demo. All the headings are lined up as rows with accordion javascript behavior that reveals the different sections. There is also no background page color.
How do I setup the contact page to look exactly like the demo (including the map?) The extremely brief instructions in the template documentation page are not terribly helpful.
Here is a screenshot of how my contact page looks.
Thanks.

December 31, 2013 at 4:59 am #516976Hi zdmdesignz,
In our demo site, we create a menu item with type of Single Contact: http://static.joomlart.com/images/userguide/ja_templates/ja_fixel/contactmenu.jpg
which will display info of a contact named: Contact Name Here (Backend > Components > Contact) and here is some of its settings:
For the map, we use JA Google Map plugin in this template and in order to view map in this contact page, pls open above contact > Add {jamap} tag into the Other information as in this screenshot:
http://static.joomlart.com/images/userguide/ja_templates/ja_fixel/contact-settings.jpg
BTW, you can build a demo site via our demo builder tool then you can know how we configure for demo site 🙂
Hope it helps.

January 2, 2014 at 4:17 am #517094Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I’ve entered all the settings you documented but the contact page still looks exactly like the one in my original screenshot.
I have an exact copy of the demo site installed on my XAMPP server, but I don’t see where the settings are to make the contact page look different from the way mine looks. I need the contact form to be in the right sidebar area and also remove the strange accordion java script windows that expand. Also, the “Miscellaneous Information” tab is very odd. I basically need the contact page to look exactly like the demo version.
Thanks

January 3, 2014 at 1:31 am #517204Hi zdmdesignz,
In backend settings of the contact you display in contact form, go to Display tab and set Display Format as Plain.
You set it to inherit from global settings which is using Sliders format, this is reason why it doesn’t show like our demo.
I just helped you to configure it, please have a look and let me know if it helps.
Regards

April 1, 2014 at 2:14 am #528860@iaienk: we use JA Google Map plugin, you can go to Backend > Extensions > Plugin manager and check whether this plugin installed in your site or not. If not, you can install it and check the details instruction in backend of this plugin to get your own co-ordinates.
