I am new to the website development game. Is there a step by step guide on how to start getting a website up and running using Joomla? My download has a lot of files, where do i go from there. I was hoping Joomla would be as simple as starting a blog and as intuitive. Clearly this is not the case. Can anyone help the technically challenged?

Actually Joomla is as simple as starting a blog and as intuitive. That’s one of the reasons it’s so popular. There is an installation guide @ http://help.joomla.org/content/category/15/99/132/
