How do I take advantage of Fixel’s built-in module class suffix styles?

Without editing css, I’d like to add a custom background color to the “Recent Articles” module published on this page: http://utd.zmdesignsbranding.com/index.php/blogspot

I’ve tried adding “blue” to the module class suffix input but it doesn’t seem to change it at all like the demo site has for “Who’s Online” on the following page: http://joomla-templates.joomlart.com/ja_fixel/index.php/en/j-blog, which uses the class suffix of “blue.”

    Thanks

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for the tutorial. 🙂 I’m having a bit of a hard time following it though. I don’t have a custom.css file in templates/ja_fixel/css/themes/blue.

Instead, I tried adding a new class called .blue-mod (rule of background-color:#000;) to template.css in that same directory, but it didn’t make a change except to add erroneous bullet points next to each article title.

The tutorial is a good starting point, but the screenshots are a little hard to read, specifically the input for the module class suffix.

How do I successfully create a working module class suffix within the fixel directory structure and css file(s)?

    Best,
    Zechariah

You need to create the custom.css file yourself – as you would any file
You can then insert your custom CSS and classes.
