I am using the ja-teline. template. I want to use it on a site using community builder so i have a frontend and a backend.

I want to use the masscol + 2 columns layout for the front page

and the 1 right cols for the logged in back end pages

    how do i do this

does anyone have any answers on how to split the layout between sections?

I think you would have to “create” 2 versions of the template and set one of them up with a 1 col layout. That would solve your issue. It would not be possible to use the same template with the different “options” of cols without creating a new and modified version first I am afraid.

    thanks for the responce

if i just don’t publish anything to the module positions, will the second column colapse with nothing published to it?

I got everything else to work just fine, the template is awesome

I was originally thinging the same proccess you suggested, it would be the easiest and most consistant, i have never been able to figure out how to have two versions of the same template on joomla

anyone have the steps to do that?
