We currently have WordPress installed as a separate installation on same host as the template, ja_portfolio.

We would like to create a new blog using the template and pull some excerpts (latest blog entries) to put on homepage or use our current WordPress install and pull latest excerpts from it. Moderator helped us create 2 blog posts for our homepage but I do not see a link to a real blog, only links to the full articles.

To use our current WordPress blog, I had one possible solution to this in a thread posted yesterday but got no replies as how to implement it.

the only way to use wordpress inside joomla afaik is with the product from corephp
