Thanks… having trouble though: my mod_login is set to Administrator with no option to change ot public – it it a fresh (empty) install of Joomla1.5

Maybe try logging into the adminsitration section and going to global configurations to change your user settings…

It’s OK – figured it out.

I needed to create a login module in Site modules – the one I was looking at was in ‘Adiministrator modules”
