Is it possible to create an article and assign it to a different template?

I’m using JA Zeolite… and would like to assign an article to open in an alternate template. Can someone tell me how to accomplish this? To even if it’s just removing the header, footer, and all modules etc… would be helpful.

It is not that easy. It is easy to remove all the modules for just one article but to change the entire template for one article requires a lot of fiddling.

What you can do is assign that article to a menu as in joomla you can assign a different template for each menu item by default.

So create a menu item and assign it to the article, then go to your template manager and assign the other template for that menu item.
