    I’ve read the previous posts about this but they don’t seem to have been resolved satisfactorily.

    I am trying to change the Avian logo.gif into my own logo.jpg file of similar proportions but a different size.
    Can anyone give me some clear instructions on how to do this as this apparently simple operation is driving me nuts…:confused:

    HI
    you can edit here template.css (line 991)

    h1.logo a {
    background:transparent url(../images/logo.gif) no-repeat scroll 0 0;
    display:block;
    float:left;
    height:80px;--> change to height of your image
    outline-color:-moz-use-text-color;
    outline-style:none;
    outline-width:medium;
    text-indent:-5000px;
    text-transform:uppercase;
    width:370px;--> change to width of your image
    }

    And change logo.gif in templates/yourtemplate/images folder
