i go to my website hosting and upload the whole zip file to my file managment then unzip everything then i go to my site

To install JA Methys you have some choice:
– Install template into your current Joomla website already installed. In this case you can download template at: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20407 ( JA Methys Template for Joomla 1.7 (910.2 KB) template 08-20-2011 1.2.0 Changelog | Compare ).
Go to Joomla back-end – Extensions – Extension Manager ( administrator/index.php?option=com_installer ).
Upload Package File and browse to your downloaded template . Select it and press Upload & Install.
You’ll also need install JA T3 System plugin for Joomla 1.7 (738.4 KB) plugin 08-20-2011 1.3.1 Changelog | Compare by do same way.
– Install from quickstart :
Download quickstart: JA Methys J17 (11.69 MB) quickstart 08-20-2011
Extract it and follow Joomla Install wizard as normally.
At final step please press install sample. 🙂Everything should be fine

August 23, 2011 at 3:05 pm #407915thanks i have uploaded them files but not like the demo, is it possible to install everything exactly like the demo with everything installed so i dont have to mess around, and without having to install joomla from scratch?

Please download our quickstart http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2331.
Upload it into your hosting public_html
Extract it
And install it as Joomla installation in normally.

August 24, 2011 at 1:02 pm #408142no. you should delete your already installed joomla, upload the contents of quickstart packageto your public_html directory and then install the joomla again with quickstart. don’t forget to install the sample data during installation. if you need help, we’re here to guide you step by step.
quickstarts are fresh installations of joomla that will make your site to look just like the demo.
