Cornelio,
I am just now uploading the latest Quick Start to another dir. I will try to install there and see how it looks.
That might help with other issues as well. I am doing an old fassioned FTP on it as I am not to familiar with PLESK.
I really dont whant to do a compleate upload of the new package as I have done some modifications in scripts, etc. but I could perhaps fix that.
It should also be pretty usefull to have a change log from JA. But they are probably to bussy to push the 2 a month issue…. So now I got that said again!

And Yes I tried with a 2 column and a 4 same thing. I should probably try some different picture sizes but its a pain as I have to do a chmod every time from 600 to 644 on the files.

Done with the new install and it looks pretty good.
Except I have the same problem as with the old one when it comes to the resizing.
The resize folder gets set to mod 700 instead of 755 and files 644. http://www.guatemala-times.com/jomtest/
I have to solve this one way or the other. All looked good during the install everything in green, etc.
But this with the resizing bugs me.
Now the big Q how do I get the main site to work as the temp one? Without doing a compleate reinstall of the main site?

I just checked the link, as of 20080605, It is virtually empty??? The other day, at least, I saw a functional demo JA Teline II.

Hello Cornelio,
I am working on it trying some configuations so it was empty for some time.
Now I have it up with Teline and joomla db. I installed the joomla vanilla pack and then
the Teline templates and plugin
Cofigured it and tested.
The big problem is NOT JA it is my @#$@#@# server! and I cant get any good help from my ISP.
lunarpages.com I get one kind of answer then they start telling me some other BS that is not related and sending me into a loop backwards. Frustrated here! BUT discoverd one thing. When I installed the components the CCS files got set to 600 mode meaning that they can only be red by owner. That Is probably my whole problem.

Bosse,

I offered that you can try it in my site. At least to see if you can create a site that actually shows the demo page.

Thanks Cornelio,
I think I might have it right now! At least my pictures is resizing correctly. So if you are ever going VPS
I have a little knowledge of the deep down configuation of a VPS running Joomla.
Now I am going to hit the bed and vegitate infront of the TV and will set my security back to normal. Backup the site and db and reinstall. I do think I have anough knowledge to do it in 10 -20 min now without running the quickstart. Who knows I might discover some new stuff!
