I have a site joomla 1.5.23 site (teline iii) . contains about 1300 articles. there are no comments or any other components in my site.

I just need to know a way to migrate articles and autor names and catagaries to a Joomla 1.6.3 site. and I want to populate these articles In Teline IV quick install. so I can replace demo articles with my articles.

I tried to migrate with Jupgrade tool. and I can convert a J1.5 to J1.6 . but didnt know how to use these new site in Teline IV template and work like demo .

I think joomlart creators can answer this. because they have converted articles in teline iii (j1.5) to teline IV (j1.6) .

Please check http://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/how-to-migrate-or-upgrade-joomla-15-to-16/ This explains how you can upgrade a J1.5 site to J1.6

If you have already completed this process and can see your articles in the site, then you just need to install Teline IV template for Joomla 1.6 with all required modules and plugins and follow userguide at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-teline-iv-for-joomla-2-5/ to setup your site like demo
