There really isn’t much of anything you can do to remove those backlinks . . . but those websites will still help you for you SEO. What you should do at this point is pay more attention and work a little bit harder to build some HIGH QUALITY backlinks – which will “tell” Google, “This website has popular backlinks and the SPAMMY ones are not a problem at all.”

In the alternative, you can try using the GOOGLE DISAVOW tool to remove those negative links affecting your site’s ranking. Before you use the tool though make sure you read Google’s Help page on using it.
