I found the count down very interesting! However, I do not know if it is possible to put it as the homepage.

This could be helpful during a development.

Hi aratype,

I think Site Offline switch (in Global Configuration) can help you when you are developing your site.
You can put the countdown there on templatesja_mitiusoffline.php
You can also add some CSS style to make it more professional.
