    Hello,

    How can I toggle on, in JA WALL, the ability for pinch zoom so if a user, whether on a samsung, ipad, iphone i ipod, etc…can zoom in with a pinch of their finger and thumb to see smaller text, etc?

    Thank you

    By default… you can already pinch zoom. This is controlled by the tablet firmware & mobile browser. Not by the template. Didn’t the guy whom you paid to install JA Wall check that for you? o.O

    Strange, the other day when I was debugging on the tablet I could get it to pinch zoom by accident. But now I can’t >_< I’ll try to look into it again but in the meantime, let’s see if one of the support staff can help you out on this.

    Hi Guys
    Please remove
    <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no”/>
    <meta name=”HandheldFriendly” content=”true” />
    in templates/ja_wall/index.php
    However, if you remove it, responsive templates will has problem on iOS.

    Hi hero, what kind of problems? I use an Ipad as a sales tool to sell space on or web sites to companies. We use Ja elastica for http://www.mendozaeventos.com and pinch zoom works great there, what are the differences? urgent, thank you (even with the ipads bigger screen, the ability to pinch zoom during a sales pitch is huge , in terms of showing a potential customer an item on the screen and can help close the deal quickly, thanks)

    Hi Seaneo
    The problem happens when you change view from vertical to horizontal or revert, layout is not smooth on old iOS.
    In fact, it is not big issue 🙂

    Thanks Hero,

    I notice after removing that, that on the Ipad landscape view converted the left menu to the “three bars” so the menu does not not show automatically right away unless you tap those “three bars” – any solution to this? thanks!

    Sorry, enabling zoom and toolbar are conflict. I think that you should disable zoom because it is not necessary. JA Wall auto detects window size.

    Thanks HeRo,

    Believe me, if you are in the streets trying to sell advertising on your website, using an tablet or especially a smartphone as a sales tool, you need the zoom ability when showing it to decision makers, many who are “internet ignorant” and/or with vision problems) who often need to see things up close and quickly:)

    Where is the file location and image name and size where I replace the “three bar” icon with an icon that says the word “Menu”?

    Thanks!

    <blockquote>Where is the file location and image name and size where I replace the “three bar” icon with an icon that says the word “Menu”?</blockquote> Open file templates/ja_wall/index.php and find <strong>Sidebar</strong> , change Sidebar to Menu . Then find in template.css .btn-toggle > strong {
    display: none;
    } and change to .btn-toggle > strong {
    display: block;
    }
    Hope that can help you!
