Hi,

I have 2 questions here:

1. I would like to delete the ‘All Catagory’ option on the Portfolio Menu, because I have an article summing up everything already;
2. I would like to assign a certain link to the option ‘TOUS’ in the image below. It’s an article that I wrote yet I find it impossible to assign an article link to a sub-menu on the Project Page.

Could u provide a neat ad clean screenshot and illustrate the details inside the screenshot with your site url .
The Project page use the isotop layout that shows the parent category and its child category in it .
For the TOUS , you can use Menu type As external url and add the link in this menu .

Hi,

Thanks for your advice, I took it and unfortunately it did not work quite well.
I’m afraid the site is yet on localhost, rendering it impossible for you to take a close look yourself. But I’m sure we can work this out.

In the attachment I made some comments of the current site situation, in case you couldn’t see them clearly, I’ll repeat below:

1. The buttom ‘ALL’ (as in ‘ALL CATAGORY’ in the demo) does not work anymore. Meaning that when I hover my mouse over it, the mouse does not change into a clickable hand. I’d like it removed given that I have a sub-menu named ‘TOUS’ of the same meaning.
2. The bottom ‘TOUS’. I assigned a single article to it, but I took your advice of changing the Menu Type into External Url and attached the link of the article to it. However, it does not work. When I click on it, it either goes to the home page or to the option ‘Collectivés’ right next to it, which is another sub-menu. This is not supposed to happen.

Your idea helped me resolve a long-time problem with the layer over the photo on masthead, I really appreciate that.

In this case its very hard for me to assume the issue as in demo site the all the links are working .
Kindly make the site live and submit your site super user details . So i can assist you better in this case .

It coming from the File
/templates/ja_mono/html/mod_articles_categories/horizontal.php
Either comment out the code

      <?php echo JText::_('TPL_ARTICLES_CATEGORIES_ALL');?>

Or remove it from the language file
Go to /language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_mono.ini
Find

TPL_ARTICLES_CATEGORIES_ALL               = "All Categories"

Replace it with

TPL_ARTICLES_CATEGORIES_ALL               = ""

Is there a place where the links behind the Portfolio Menu are present that I could alter? Like the ‘all catagories’, ‘education’, ‘design’ and ‘inspiration’ in the demo page attached.

There is no such link, the category are subcategory name . The only static content is All category that used for parent category .

Hi,

I was cleaning up the site and I came back to this one, I don’t fully understand your answer here.
I brought back the ‘All Catagory’ option and it’s not showing all the articles of all the subcatagories. It shows no article at all.
I assign each article to one subcatagory and all the subcatagories are assigned to the main catagory here, and when I click ‘All Catagory’, logic would have it that I’ll see the first articles of the first subcatagory, like shown in your demo site but it’s not, it’s showing ‘No Articles Found’.

I put some screen shots here and I hope it’s not too much of a mess, thanks.

i can not assume the issue , and what u customize on site , I tested on fresh package and do not have any problem , if you need help , you need to provide the site details , without site details i am not able to help u .
