Hi
Add below code in custom.css file to reduce the space

 .home .t3-content,.t3-sidebar {min-height: 300px!important;}
.view-featured .tpl-inf-wrapper {  padding-bottom: 0px;  }
  .home .infinity-cont.av-grid .items { min-height: 300px!important; max-height: 300px!important;}

Please note the space is normal , you need to remove the code when u add more items in content area and sidebar .
