Hi,

in JA Teline III V2, there is an automatic readmore for articles, where it added automatically

1. How can i enable or disable this option
2. how can i download this extension and add it to other JA templates

Not sure it’s automatic. If you look at the demos – it’s not.
Could you give an example how the link is created automatically on your site? I’ll try to repeat on mine.

Yeah it is automatic, I installed the complete quick start for JA TEline III v2, its in
http://aldo3a.com/test2/

its the first three articles,i added them all, and the readmore added automatically.

Can anyone know how this is done?

It should be a content plugin, like this one.
Select in plugins manager all “content” ones and check if there is any plugin doing that.
PS. Still, I haven’t found it to be a JA plugin/feature..

Yeah, I know about the Joomla extension as I tried before but it have some issues.

I would appreciate if someone know about this auto read more, so he can tell me where its located to enable/disable it, or to add it to other templates.

As I mentioned, the first three articles in http://www.aldo3a.com/test2 , i added them without adding readmorem and when its published, i found the readmore there, i did it many times and its there.

Please if someone know how its done, share it with us

i found a read-more code in the JAT3 wiki page, can some one explain it to me if its the new auto read more in the JAT3

Teline’s home page uses an extension called JA NEWS FP rather than the normal Joomla Home page component.

JA NEWS FP automatically inserts a readmore after a certain amount of characters. This is configurable in EXTENSIONS>MODULES>JA NEWS FP> Max Chars of Featured Articles and Max Chars of Normal Articles

If you wish to manually choose where the Read More goes… set the Max Chars of Featured Articles and Normal Articles to something like 9999999. Teline will then use the normal system Read More settings (if you have set one in the article!).

To set a Read More in your article click the Read More icon under your article editor or place <hr id=”system-readmore” /> within the HTML of the article.

How to insert auto read more in the rest of the articles, as you mentioned the JA NEWS FP, how about the rest of the articles in the other categories.
