Hi,

I’m using Joomla! 3.1.5 on GNU/Linux. I’ve setup all I need for multilanguage support (menu, categories, articles and modules).
I red that I have to create multiple template profile to activate all menu for each language. Is it correct?
What I have to do to configure multiple profile for multiple language?.

    Hi ameschino,

The profile is a standard feature of our JAT3v2 framework which allows you to assign the template styles (font-size, theme, layout) to different menu item.

Not really. You just need to create multiple profiles in case you want to assign different theme, layout to different multilingual menu items. If not, you don’t need to create more profiles.

There are few options of selecting theme, layout, font-size in each profile. You can refer this document to understand more about using the profile feature at http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Profiles_Panel

Thanks for your answer. According to what you are saying I don’t need any other profile, but what I have to do to activate the second language and show all modules?

    Hi ameschino,

According to what you are saying I don’t need any other profile, but what I have to do to activate the second language and show all modules?

You are creating the multiligual site with IT menu and EN menu, so that you need to create at least each profile to IT and EN menu items. In the profile, you can select the Menu you want to display in Menu type, then assign the profile to language menu.

Then you should create 2 modules (each same module type) assigned to IT and EN menu.

    Hi ameschino,

You can go to Template Manager >> JA_Ores – Default >> Profiles >> New button, then follow to configure the profile settings. The process is similar as you created the Italiano profile. Just make the multilingual menu simply: (i.e)

    – Italiano profile with Italia menu (Menu type), then assign this profile to Italiano(IT) menu item.

    – English profile with English menu (Meny type), then assign it to English (EN) menu item.

    Hi ameschino,

If possible, can you send me PM with your website’s credentials ? By that way, i can check out your profile/ menu settings and give you better suggestion then.
