I started to customize the template and included new articles to FROM THE NEWS section in copying one article and renaming it differently, but I had to face that images of new articles are the same and I can not figure out where to change them.

    Somebody has an idea?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi Aratype

The FROM THE NEWS is a Ja_Content_Slider module that takes articles from Joomla category

Try to check in Module manager

Thank you, I have this fine… OK, let me ask the question in a different way: How to access the image (I mean: demo-1_200_100.jpg, demo-2_200_100.jpg, etc) linked to the article in the front page in order to change it ?

Sorry but i don’t understand what you mean exactly

The From the News in the home page is a JA Content Slider module published in the contentslider position and it takes sources from article category, the category is called From the News and in this category are published 4 articles with this html code

<p><img src=”images/stories/demo/demo-1.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Sample Image” align=”left” />Lacinia quis diam dui felis cursus tempor eleifend sed pretium odio. Mauris sit Lacinia quis diam dui felis cursus tempor eleifend sed pretium odio. Mauris sit.</p>
    <hr id=”system-readmore” />
<p>Gravida massa amet at lacus pede Sed nunc ut nec laoreet.

So the image is in this folder images/stories/demo/demo-1.jpg
the images demo-1_200_100.jpg, demo-2_200_100.jpg, are in this folder /images/resized/images/stories/demo
but only because in the module — advanced options is there using crop for the thumbnail Mode, if you change it to using image source then the path for images return the original one images/stories/demo

    i hope was clear

Thank you, but again I do not get it… In the homepage you have an image above the title and the introduction, how to change the image.

Let us say the article “Need For Speed The Run Demo Available October 18th”
    http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_kranos

I need to change the image that is in the homepage”images/resized/images/stories/demo/demo-1_200_100.jpg” not the image when I open the article which I see in “images/stories/demo/slideshow/”

I want to have a new image for the articles more than the six articles in the demo template…

    Many thanks in advance

Your images for the module are in this folder images/resized/images/stories/demo

because your module is using in the thumbnail settings the function using crop and then create the folder resized while the articles open with the image contained in this folder images/stories/demo so you can simply disable the using crop from your module, and use the original image not the one in the resized folder

I hope was clear this time

    Thank you Pavit,

I deleted the articles and created new ones and that worked perfectly.

May be this is simply what you need to do. First, you upload the new image to the folder specified on the slide show module; then you open the article, click/select the image that you want to change; click on the “image button” of the editor to open the image setup screen; you will see the address of the picture that is on the article now; write down the name of the new image and click update; you will see the new image on the article.

You just create a new article with a picture of the size specified on the template, then add that article to same category which is connected to the module.
