September 8, 2008 at 8:10 pm #269561Hi ukfraternite,
1-Navigate to templates/ja_teline_ii/css/colors. The themes are there. You may add new ones or edit the css files to get the colors you want.
2-In the backend-> Modules Manager find JA News 1.3.0 and fill in the “Category/section” field a list like this:
##:green
##:red
etc.. as
## is the section or category ID; colors as yours themes are suffixed.Hope this helps.
-Charles
PS: I think that is described in the userguide. Check it out.1 user says Thank You to hcharly for this useful post

September 8, 2008 at 10:24 pm #269575Hello,
I looked at the ccs/colours and am a little bbit confused over which one should I edit?
I belive those one refer to when you click on the menu > then the colour change to the predefined one.
What I would like is something like this (see attachment).
Every tab should have a specific colour.

</blockquote>Yes, that is.
<blockquote>Every tab should have a specific colour</blockquote>
I’m not sure, but I don’t think it’s just a matter of settings.
You may have to edit css and php.
Better I let profesionels advice you.-Charles

September 9, 2008 at 7:27 pm #269808HI ukfraternite
That’s exactly what I also wanted to do. My post/question in this forum has been more than a month and I think no one knows yet…. maybe except the developers who could suggest some infos to us.Let’s hope they could notice our posts.
By the way, what is your website?
September 10, 2008 at 4:38 pm #269965Hey guys, I can’t say I’m a pro at this but I found a tutorial that might help: http://tutorials.rockettheme.com/joomla-tutorials/template-tutorials/page-class-suffix.html
I think what you need to add a suffix to is in the theme.css file, the #jasdl-mainnav property. Again I’m not positive. Hopefully someone who knows better will be able to clarify.
September 10, 2008 at 4:40 pm #269968It also just occurred to me, the property could be in template.css as well: #ja-mainnav.
