it looks correct. I just applied a one line change to mine and it worked. The difference though is that I am using 1.0 not 1.5.

Your coding looks accurate so have you double checked your menu item id# ? Also what is your site? You can PM if you like.

I like to do one line to get it working before I add a bunch – try to work on a single menu item tab – get it working and then you can add the others.

also important – you have to be using the ‘css’ type menu. This is set up in your template parameters – do you know what I am talking about? In 1.0 you had to edit a file, but I think you do it through the menu for 1.5.

this is the last few lines of my template_css.css file after my modification. And I have verified that when I hover my mouse over this menu item it shows red.

Just like magic, it has finally worked.

The problem was I DID NOT CHANGE to the ‘css’ type menu from Template Manager > teline ii > Menu Module.

yay! glad to hear it – it is so cool when these things finally work!
