Hi,
I would like to add Google Analytics code in footer of JA Rave for J1.6.
Are file for J1.6 different than J1.5 files in general and what file should I edit?I searched for manual how to change footer in J1.6 but everyone is taking about chaning text in language files (GNU and Joomla text)
Tnx

January 24, 2011 at 11:33 am #373449The easiest way is to use the debug module position for your analytics code. Simply create a custom html module in the debug position. Make sure you select “No Editor” and do it in pure html or the editor will treat your code as a text string and it will not be parsed.

January 25, 2011 at 9:09 pm #373771I tried but I can’t make it work. I placed it as HTML. I I toggled editor too. If I enter it as HTML it is erased after I save it. Any suggestion.Tnx

January 25, 2011 at 9:15 pm #373774If you wish to PM me an admin logon along with your code I will take a look for you. Please include a link to this thread and a link to your site in your PM. You’ll be amazed how many send the passwords and no link.
January 11, 2012 at 9:46 pm #433445I’m adding similar code (eloqua) and am trying this method. I’ve set a user with ‘no editor’ logged in and added the code to the text box in the custom HTML module. When I save the module the text disappears. Is there another way to do this?
