September 19, 2014 at 5:09 pm #201464Hi,
I am trying to add google analytics between the head tags of the JA University template on Joomla 3.3.3. I have tried the following to no avail:
1. Added code to templates > ja_university > blocks > head.php
2. Created page directory in templates > ja_university > page then copied the default php file from /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page and pasted it into templates > ja_university > page and added the code after the following:
showBlock ('head');
?>
getBlocksXML ('head'), 'block');
foreach ($blocks as $block) :
$this->showBlock ($block);
endforeach;
?>showBlock ('css') ?>
************ANALYTICS CODE HERE*************Neither of these methods are working and I really need to get this code added to the site for a customer. Where is JA hiding the head tags for this template? Please advise.

September 19, 2014 at 5:52 pm #550202Thanks, but this tutorial doesn’t represent the backend of the JA University template in any way shape or form. The JA University template does not have any Template Master Files in the section represented in this video. I wish all of the templates were laid out the same because it would make this hunt a lot easier.
The three links provided are all third party sites and do not address the specific issue related to the JA University template. I need to add the Google Analytics script directly between the head tags and none of these options were helpful.
The bottom line is non of these options solve the problem. Do you have any information that pertains directly to this JoomlArt Template. This is a JoomlArt template right?
