    Hi,

I used Joomla multilingual component to translate this site: http://airpacx4.cloudaccess.net

And process was great for first 2 languages (Russian and Spain).

    Russian: http://airpacx4.cloudaccess.net/ru/
    Spain: http://airpacx4.cloudaccess.net/es/

However, on 3rd language which is Serbian (Serbian Latin – sr-YU). This component didn’t create 3rd language menus or article/module translation.

At this stage I would like to add this menu and articles manually and translate them on my own.

    1. First step I was making sure that I have Serbian Latin language installed at Language Manager: Installed Languages
    2. then created category “test” and article “test” both with Serbian language assignment
    3. added menu “test” ( Menu Manager: Add Menu)
    4. added menu item “test” to pick up singe article “test” and setup to Serbian language (Menu Manager: New Menu Item)
    5. created module “test” module as a Menu and setup to pick up “test” menu and setup to be on Serbian language and used “mainav” position.

And got empty bar/main navigation menu: http://airpacx4.cloudaccess.net/sr/

I also checked if this issue is on template assignment and tried to follow the same set up as it was for Russian and Spain language but I could’t figure it out what is main menu position, also by using old code /?tp=1 and template position layout.

Simply, I do not know where is an error and if you can help I would appreciate it.

    Thank you,
    Branko

P.S. I also tired to follow couple other instruction from forum and I didn’t have problem to setup other multi language templates.

    Hello,

Yes, Serbian is not supported by Bing translator (see the list of supported language by Bing here), so JA Multilingual will not work with Serbian if you use Bing as translator service.

But our component also support Google translate, that support Serbian (see the list), so you can switch to use this service.

For how to register Google API, please follow our guide that published here

FYI: in case you want to setup new language manually, please follow Step by steps document for how to build multilingual site of Joomla here
