    I’d need to add the following meta tag as the first tag ( right after <head> )

    <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=edge”>

    But after adding it in tpls/block/head.php

    It is not coming on the top. Can anybody please help me out. ???

    is this solved, i also want to rework meta tags to be generated in a specific order. But i cannot seems to find where… if I put it in the head file it still comes after some junk metas.

    PS: title tag should always be right after <head>

    I do not think i have to do that, i just need to know where are the files that compile the meats in the T3 structure as seen in attached picture.

    you need to understand, /tpls/block/head.php this is the only place where you are suppose to add what you intend to achieve. If this doesn’t work, you need to help us by providing your site admin details to check the issue.
