Hi,
can anyone tell me how to add new background colors to this template? (Client is requesting a ‘Lavender” color style).I changed the colors to all the images for one of the color folders and left everything else the same.
I still get a center image in the center background and all the modules with the original color.I checked the CSS stylesheet and could not find a hex color for the background that would resemble the overall color scheme. (I did everything using folder Nautilus).
Can anyone tell me what am I missing, and what else I need to change to create a full new color style?
Thank you very much!

You can use in this firefox add-on to find the relative hex colors on a webpage::

Thank you for your answer.
I know how to find the colors; but thank you for your guide, is wonderful.What I tried to say is, that, thinking that I am missing something on the stylesheet regarding the color in the background and on some modules, after I checked the stylesheet, I could not find any color that would resemble Nautilus color scheme, which my color meter reads as #206EA0.
What I have done so far:
I changed the color of all the images I found in Nautilus color style folder.
After I changed all the images color to the Lavender color my client wants, I am still seeing the original color in a number of areas in the template.I am developing locally, so I do not have a live site show you.
I uploaded a screenshot.Thanks!

November 17, 2010 at 5:20 pm #363195It seems that you would need to change various source images to get the desired colors for which you would need image editing tool like photoshop to update the source images files seen here for this preset style ::
ja_lead/source/ja_lead_source_pack2/trans_nautilus.psd
and then, replacing the updated images files with the ones already defined
Download of source pack::
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=131
but for menu, left menu, tabs, the background color can be updated through css file
As a whole, This would probably be quite lot of work
