    Hi
Either you can use 3rd party extension that is developed for OG tags in Joomla from JED Here
If you want to add a static open graph tag it can be added to the template style options > custom code > before the head tag.

    save and check.

If i add to the template style options > custom code > before the head tag, it means i would add the same OG tag too all pages using this template. can I only add to the homepage?

    Hi

Yes, it works for all pages where you used this template style.
if you want to add it to category blog menu, you have to add it to the category blog and it will be same for all category blog menu.
I suggest you use 3rd party extensions that allow you more feature to add it fro different menu and articles pages.

    Regards
