I want to add my Joomla site’s RSS address to my Feedburner account, but I get errors when I try to edit the feed details at google.feedburner.com.

I first click my feed’s “edit details”, providing the following: http://mysite.com/index.php?format=feed&type=rss

This gives me a blank feedburner page, so I try to ping the feed to update the contents. I get this error:

Your Ping resulted in an Error "We were unable to process your ping. You must ping with a URL that exactly matches the channel link (RSS) or alternate link (Atom) in your top level feed element pointing back to your website (e.g http://myblog.blogspot.com/), or use your feed URL (e.g. http://feeds.feedburner.com/myuri)."

I’m using Joomla 1.6. Thanks.

make sure your rss link is available like this:
http://joomla16-templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iv/index.php/life?format=feed&type=rss
if you link is ok, it should work with feedburner. try replace “&” with “&”.
