Hello all,

already searched the forum for that kind of question:

the output is not as desired, the boxes are currently to big (see attachment, left side with the red frame). The boxes should be like the one in the attachment on the right side (see attach, right side with green frame).

Could you please assist me with that ?

Hi torstenl,

The height of each block item depends on content displayed. In your case, you could reduce content as hiding introtext or set maxlength for it and consider to hide un-used attributtes in the JA K2 Filter component parameters setting.

Hi HeR0,

thanks for your fast response. I played around a bit and if I disable all options, the output looks really good. My question is now, why the output box of each item is that big even if I choose an introtext with 25 words ? Seems that a lot of space is wasted for something, how can I reduce that wasted space ? Is a specific field size reserved if you enable “Show intro text” in the options ?

Hi Torsten,

That is an attribute min-height in the css rule. You could adjust it in the file components/com_k2/templates/jak2filter/style.css, go to line 85,86 and reduce value of this atribute as you wish.

Hi HeR0,

thanks for the update, that is working perfect now. Would it be also possible to open the search results in new window ?
I feature like “Go back to search results” would be nice. Or do you have an idea or a hint how to do this quickly ?
