Hi there,

Maybe someone out there who can help and give me some advice.

I am working on two projects for our students here at Leiden University to go live in january 2008. I was really fond of the JA Zibal template and have been exercising with it:

Now Hedera is out and JOOMLA1.5 coming I found that Hedera maybe better for what I want to accomplish. With the JA Zibal template the pictures as you can see in the demo above take a lot of space and I thought that if I get Hedera to work I can maybe put the pictures in place of the header picts so I installed Hedera here:

I am fond of the orange version and adjusted the header for both examples. Is it possible to maybe have a transparent background for the tabs? If they were transparent I could change the bkgnd every month without a lot of work. Another problem is that I stil can see a background pictures along the tabs now. Another thing is the reflection below the search box, how can I correct this? Last thing I would like to know is how I can remove the colour-choices in the footer and have a fixed colour in this case orange, because I really like the grey tabs on top of a colourful background.

The transparency is controlled in the template_css.css file and the tab background images in the template images file…the reflection below the search box you have to modify the search-bg.jpg file. Its not in the sources, so you have to unzip the actual template to get to it…

You can remove the color choices in the index.php file…

Thanks for your reply. I get back to sorting things out again. If I cannot manage it, I’ll come back. I did similar things with JA Senecio on this site: http://www.nifaiyou.com , but some reason I could not with Hedera.
