I have tried without success to apply the quotes as described in the turtorial. It always ends up turning up the code the way i wrote it at the back end on the front end too.
Please what am I not doing right here?

are you meaning quotes from the typorgraphy?

paste this into your html <blockquote><span class=”open”>Y</span>our quote goes her<span class=”close”>e!</span></blockquote>

and swap your quote with the our quote goes here
