    Hello,

    In Teline II, it is a simple matter to change the default color of a “section”, through the JA News, just add, as follows

    • 1: deepblue
    • 8: color you want here (based from the themes)
    • 5: color you want here (based from the themes)

    where the numbers in the list above refers to the Section ID.
    How is this done from the backend, with Teline IV?

    Thanks

    Cornelio

    I know the user can change it via the CPanel from the frontend, but I disable the CPanel for now, since I cleared the header section of everything except the logo. I do not not know yet where I will place the CPanel, after I decided the layout of the header.

    You can go to Template manager > JA teline 4 > Tab Global and add on “Profile Override Settings”

    Thanks thanhlt,

    I am not sure I follow completely. Can you please provide an example. To illustrate, I think some of the parent categories use lime green and pink, I am not too fond of those colors, and also because they are too light. I like the text to appear dark — easier to read in a white background.

    Can you please provide a schematic diagram, just like I pointed how it was done in the Teline II (see previous previous).

    Second issue:

    I want to use other colors, more specifically monochromatic shades of the same color, e.g., monochromatic shades of dark blues for an entire site. Can I create and add more color themes for blues, or deep reds that will be used specifically for each site.

    Issue 3:

    What I wanted to do also is to assign a “theme color” unique for each parent category. Relevant to previous issue (Issue 2), I would like to add more color themes to do this.

    How can this be done?

    Again, schematic diagrams of the procedure please.

    Also, instead of “color names”, can I use codes, like B01, B02, B03. etc. for the monochromatic shades of blues. This way, I could change the color specifications without changing the names of each color theme, later on (please see below)

    Issue 4: Do you happen to know a link that would include the “hexadecimal” equivalent, e.g., “FFFFFF” for white, “000000” for black, etc. of the monochromatic shades of the different colors?

    Cornelio

    In general, relevant to the default color theme nomenclature, I would like to rename them simply as follows:

    • Red color -> A
    • Orange color => B
    • Cyan color => C
    • Lime color => D
    • Pink color => E
    • Brick color => F
    • Green color => G
    • Blue color => H
    • etc. (more colors) => I, J, K, etc.

    With the generic Names or Codes for the color themes, I can change the actual colors (e.g., various shades of blues, dark greens, deep reds, or combinations) in each website, if I want to.

    I assigned different color each section but the “JA TELINE LOGOs” are also appearing instead of my website logo. How will I replace them?

    My website logo only appears on the homepage.

    Thanks

    There are different variations of the logo depending on what colour scheme your template is using. Take a look in templates>ja_teline_iv>core>themes and you will see a list of all the current colour variations. Each contains an images foler and each of thos could contain a new logo for that colour scheme. Edit as required but also make sure you clear your jat3 cache after each edit.
