What is supposed to be displaying on article view?

Can you share the url of the site you’re working on – with a link to a page with the new module displaying and a page where it is not (but supposed to be) ??

    Hi Kien,

You should check out the Template style being assigned to the menu items which contains that articles, make sure that you selected Default layout in Layout settings of that template style. By that way, the module at sidebar-2 position will display fine then.

    Hi,

Question regarding the above solution :

I set my menu item to Default but I want the sidebar module to show only on the article pages and not on the category/featured articles page…

    Any ideas?

    That’s the Featured Articles page : http://cleverinkdev.co.uk/liquidf/index.php?option=com_content&view=featured&Itemid=565

    That’s an article page : http://cleverinkdev.co.uk/liquidf/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=193:bbc-films-branding&catid=99&Itemid=565

That Featured Articles are not assigned to a real menu item so that they are loading the Home layout of Home menu item (Branding) without the sidebar position.

The solution is the featured articles need to be assigned to a menu item and set the JA_Fixel_Default template style to recent menu item. The sidebar will display fine on that article page then.
