I’m trying to display content and it’s really far to the right. There’s tons of whitespace. How do I readjust content to that it doesn’t seem so sparse on the page.

the menu The Science is featured article type . it uses on intro image on the left side and article content on the right side .
your article does not contains the intro image . if u will add intro image it will look like this > http://prntscr.com/84t9qt
If u want to customize layout u can do it from templatesuberhtmlcom_contentfeatured/default_item.php

you can change the col sm size in the code Make sure total should be 12 . or set col-sm-12 for both to show them in full width
