I know similiar questions have been asked and answered, but i am still missing something. sorry if i dont’ use quite the right terms, i’ll try to explain. i’m quite new at this but having so much fun. 🙂

i’m using css menu and have managed to chagne the main ‘active’ menu button to a different red. and i’ve changed the menu buttons to a dark tan when ‘hovering’ over them and the list to show as a light tan. but can’t figure these items out….
:confused: issues:
where did the blue come from when you click on an item on the list? (see lighting & fans tab)
how do i change the main menu buttons from grey?
where do i change the other menu headings from grey. (figuired out the module on the right)

Hi
You open red.css file in templates/ja_edenite/css/colors folder , find following code section at about line 26:


#ja-mainnav {
background:#A1A1A1 url(../../images/red/grad2-1new.gif) repeat-x scroll center top;
}


change into :


#ja-mainnav {
background:#FFFFFF url(../../images/red/grad2-1new.gif) repeat-x scroll center top;
}


#FFFFFF is sample color , You can change it by other color !

I realized one of my problems was missing a letter in my color code. Lesson learned there!

This is an even more basic question! :-[

Can I use the # numbers that appear in Photoshop when ‘sampling’ a colour?

For instance, #C26161 or #6A4545

Or, is there a list of ‘acceptable’ colours anywhere?
