I am trying to change the text on a contact form in Ja-Portfolio but can’t find where to do it, I have tried the location below based on advice in an earlier post, but unfortunately that is not the form and it did not work:

components/com_contact/views/contact/tmpl/default_form.php

the div class for the form is “jcontact-form” any help would be very much appreciated.

I am sorry but I very uneasy at giving anyone FTP access to my websites for whatever reason. I had assumed that, as the contact form is either a standard part of Joomla or the Ja Portfolio template, that someone at Joomla Art would know where the relevant files is located that I need to edit.

or in

# Because don’t have FTP i can’t help you quickly find out that file.
My local quickstart i can’t find out “jcontact-form”.

May i know which template / quickstart you have used ?

But it’s translate string, so you can update in your language file
