    Just updated to 1.0.4, as far I can see the option “Set ItemID” is added?

    Site url: http://www.rebo.nl/nederlands/service-support/Alles-over-uw-systeem

    Can someone describe how to do this? I do not really want to create a new menu item, or is this the only solution? How can I make a menu item to use for search display settings, and is not shown in any menu? I’d like my main menu to stay the same.

    Hi rsystems,

    Params “Set ItemID” i am using same modules search of joomla

    If you want it as :

    you can try : open file “modules/mod_jak2filter/mod_jak2filter.xml”, find code:
    <blockquote>
    <field
    name=”set_itemid”
    type=”text”
    default=””
    class=”validate-numeric”
    label=”MOD_JAK2FILTER_SETITEMIDS”
    description=”MOD_JAK2FILTER_SETITEMIDS_DESC”
    />
    </blockquote>
    and change it to:
    <blockquote>
    <field
    name=”set_itemid”
    type=”menuitem”
    default=””
    class=”validate-numeric”
    label=”MOD_JAK2FILTER_SETITEMIDS”
    description=”MOD_JAK2FILTER_SETITEMIDS_DESC”
    />
    </blockquote>

    With modules “Kunnen we u helpen?”, as in thread, the set itemtid does not solve the problem.

    Hi MoonSailor,

    I’m sorry, but I don’t really understand :((

    What do I exactly have to do to change the current layout? I’d like 2 or 3 columns of articles, instead of 1.

    Kind regards, Maarten

    Hi MoonSailor,

    The problem is that with the option to choose menu item you can select display options for regular Joomla articles. However, I only use K2 items. For K2, I have to be able to select a K2 category which contains the display (# of columns etc) choices.

    Can this be implemented?

    Can this be added to the feature list and implemented quickly in a new release?

    Our website has been live for 2 months, but we still don’t have a nice FAQ section, which we really need! :((

    Hi rsystems,

    Because, component is using k2 generic layout and we do not edit or override it.

    In the next version, i will update to allow layout choice from component backend.

    Please wait for it.
