I’ve tried using the "Theme Magic" button to change the background color, but it has no effect. Must this be done manually within the template’s css files? Thanks.

Pavit, I do not wish to change the PAGE background color. I only wish to change the background color at the top of the page – behind the logo header and above the MegaMenu. I thought that the "heading" setting in ThemeMagic would change it, but it does not.
